Accessing and Understanding Progress Reports

1. Receive Progress Report 0:00

Progress report email received after a tutoring session
  • After each session, you will receive a progress report or session summary via email.
  • This report serves as your first point of reference.

2. Accessing Old Sessions 0:17

Past completed sessions in the family portal
  • If you want to review past sessions:
    • Click on an old session that has been completed.
    • Look for the ‘view’ option.

3. Viewing Notes 0:28

  • Instead of a ‘launch online lesson space’ button, you will see a ‘notes’ button if you are online.
  • For in-person sessions, it will simply say ‘notes’.

4. Understanding the Progress Report 0:38

  • Clicking on the notes will display the progress report, which includes:
    • Overview of how the student performed.
    • Topics covered during the session.
    • Highlights or wins from the session.
    • Identification of strengths and weaknesses.
    • Any homework assigned.
    • Plans for future sessions.

5. Continuous Access 0:47

Progress report history available in the family portal
  • You can access these reports anytime.
  • They are useful for tracking your child’s progress throughout the term.
